Customer Review: You're paying for a code.
It seems like such a waste. This card has a code on it that you enter when you purchase games or channels on the Wii shop channel. Once you use the code the card is just junk. If only there was a way to reload points onto the card. I prefer using this card as opposed to using my credit card because I don't have to wait for the transaction to clear on my account. As for buying these cards online, I understand that it is cheaper but what doesn't make sense is why they send you a card instead of just giving you the code. Then you don't have to wait for it to ship.

First off, in response to the "One Star Ratings", who say that this is not worth it because the shipping puts it over $20: That statement only holds water when this product is purchased alone. With purchases of several items, eventually you'll get free shipping. I love the virtual console. I think it is a very good idea to allow people to buy classic games without the hassle of buying ancient consoles and such. I recommend buying this with several other items in order to get your money's worth, or just buying them with a credit card on the Wii Shop Channel. ('Cept with a credit card it has tax! ;) )
